As both of my parents were talented artists I have always had a keen interest in visual art. I studied art & photography to a tertiary level, but didn't persevere any further as I found that earning actual money was more appealing! Having grown up in the U.K. I migrated to New Zealand at 21, continuing with drawing & photography as a hobby while doing various jobs in which I learned a number of different yet complimentary skills. It's been many years since I ate at the Japanese restaurant in Tallahassee. It was quite a memorable experience. A bunch of college students singing medieval Christmas carols came to our table and asked if we had any requests. I said yes, please go to another table. They acted offended.
